Brad's scientific research is in the areas of Earth and planetary atmospheres. With degrees from Northwestern University, the University of Illinois and the University of Colorado, he uses ground based and satellite observations to investigate the chemistry of Earth, Mars and Venus. Ground based observations include radio telescopes in Arizona and Hawaii. Satellite observations come primarily from the Upper Atmospheric Research Satellite, and the Earth Observing System AURA satellite. Concentrating primarily on Earth's mesosphere and troposphere, Brad studies water vapor, ozone, and related issues.
