Christine (Chris) graduated from Mary Washington College (now the University of Mary Washington) with a BA in Sociology. Life took her in some crazy, unexpected directions including to Germany and back. She began as a secretary and moved up to software engineering and business ownership where she finished out a 21-year career in Northern Virginia (NOVA) as a federal government contractor. After spending a few years semi-retired at a lake in southwestern Virginia, she and her husband, Bill, decided to move to Colorado in 2021, following her eldest son and daughter-in-law to the state. She is coming out of semi-retirement to join the SSI team in 2022.
Chris and Bill enjoy spending time walking their fur baby, Daisy (a shih-poo) in the early mornings and taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains as the sun comes up. She also loves spending time with her 10-month-old grandson, painting and gardening.
