My main research interest is astrophysical dust, both from the perspective of how we can learn about the properties and composition of dust in interstellar space, and how we can use the dust to trace the processes of stellar death and planet formation. By bringing together observations across a wide range of the EM spectrum (far-UV to millimetre wavelengths) and comparing them to computational simulations using machine-learning techniques, I hope to understand what space dust is made of and how it is produced.
