Sam studies atmospheric processes in planetary environments with a focus on aerosol observation and characterization. His current research explores Martian water-ice clouds through thermal infrared spectroscopy and remote sensing techniques. Sam has been a member of the Emirates Mars Mission science team and holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University. He currently resides in the mountains of Colorado.
