I was born in Colorado but raised in Nevada. My accounting career started in the early 90's working for a large homebuilder in Las Vegas. After moving back to Colorado in 1998, I continued working for homebuilders and subcontractors in various roles in accounting and management. I decided it was time for a change after working in the construction industry for nearly 3 decades.
I have a wonderful 110lb yellow labrador retriever named Braydy that I like to walk, play ball and frisbee and take swimming, since he LOVES the water.
I enjoy gardening, exercising and being with Braydy. I love camping and being in the mountains and outdoors, taking in the scenery and wildlife. I also like to cook and spend time with family and friends.
I am excited to have this opportunity to work at the Space Science Institute to help support these professionals in accomplishing their interesting and important research. I have always been fascinated and curious about science, especially Astronomy and Geology, so this is an opportune change. It is also a welcome challenge working for a non-profit for the first time.
